Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website keeps in your browser. This page lists the ones our site uses and what each is for, and the other small notes it keeps in your browser. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie Settings at the foot of every page.

Essential Cookies

These keep the site working, so they are always on. They're never used for advertising.

__Secure-better-auth.session_token and __Secure-better-auth.session_data: your session, which keeps your bag, and keeps you signed in if you have an account. It lasts up to 30 days.
lc_currency: the currency the site shows its prices in, kept for 12 months.
lc_consent: your cookie choice, so we don't ask again. It is kept for 12 months, and then we ask again.

Our own team also has cookies for signing in to the shop's administration and for previewing changes before they go live. These are never set for customers.

Analytics Cookies

These are set only if you accept analytics cookies:

Google Analytics (ga, and _ga followed by our property's id), from Google, kept for up to two years: which pages are visited, how people find our site and what is bought, counted together, so we can improve the site. We don't use Google's advertising features with it, and it is never given your name or email address.
Trustpilot's review widget, where our site shows one: Trustpilot may set cookies of its own.

If you reject analytics cookies, or turn them off later, none of these are set, nothing about your visit goes to Google, and the Google Analytics cookies are deleted from your browser.

Advertising and Marketing Cookies

We don't use advertising or marketing cookies.

Paying on Viva's Page

When you pay, you move to viva.com's secure payment page, where Viva sets the cookies it needs to take your payment safely. Those are covered by Viva's own cookie policy, not this one.

Other Things We Keep in Your Browser

Our site also keeps a few small notes in your browser's own storage. They stay on your device, and they aren't cookies:

the details you've typed at checkout, in that tab only, so a reload or the payment page's Back button doesn't lose them;
that you've seen or closed our welcome offer, so it doesn't keep appearing;
which "Recently ordered" notices you've seen;
your conversation with our chat, so it's there when you come back;
your recent searches on our site;
the page you first arrived on, the website that sent you (its name only) and any campaign tags in the link, for 30 days, so we can count, in our own records only, which searches and links lead to orders. It is never sent to Google or anyone else.

Changing Your Choice

Use Cookie Settings at the foot of any page to accept or reject analytics cookies at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings, but if you block essential cookies your bag and signing in won't work.
